About Amit Sharma
Amit started sending pilgrim groups across the Sunauli border twenty years ago and built Trip Nepal around the things that kept going wrong for them - vague itineraries, hidden costs and nobody to call at nine at night.
He does not lead trips any more. What he does is plan them: which order the days go in, how much slack a Jomsom flight needs, whether a family with a four year old should really be doing Chitwan and Pokhara in the same week. Every itinerary on this site went through him first.
He is also the number you get when something goes wrong at eleven at night, which is the part of the job he takes most seriously.
If the itinerary needs a spare day, put the spare day in. It costs less than a missed flight.
