What we ask you for, why we need it, who else ever sees it, and how to get it changed or deleted. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
The full policy is below and it governs. This is just the honest summary so you are not reading twelve clauses to find out whether we sell your data. We do not.
Name, phone, email, travel dates and whatever you choose to tell us about your trip. That is enough to plan and book it.
Your details are not sold, rented or handed to advertisers. They go to the hotels, transporters and guides who are actually running your trip.
Payments come to us by UPI, bank transfer or cash. We keep the receipt and reference, never your PIN, CVV or full card number.
Write to us and we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete what we are not legally required to keep.
Trip Nepal is a travel company operating under Swaminarayan Pashupatinath Yatra (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., with its office at AD Mall, 1st Floor, Vijay Chowk, Gorakhpur - 273001, India.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. “You” means anyone who contacts us, asks for a quote, books a trip, or uses this website. We are the ones responsible for the personal information described here.
This policy covers this website and the enquiries, bookings and payments that come through it, by phone, by email or in person at our office.
Only what a trip actually needs. In practice, that falls into four groups.
Every use below is tied to running your trip or the business behind it.
If we ever want to use your information for something not on this list – for example a photograph of you in our marketing – we will ask you first, and you are free to say no.
When you tick the consent box on an enquiry form, you are agreeing that we may contact you on WhatsApp, by phone and by email about that enquiry and your booking. That is service communication, and we would not be able to plan your trip without it.
Separately, we may occasionally send you offers or seasonal itineraries. You can stop those at any time – reply STOP to a WhatsApp message, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply tell us. Opting out of marketing never affects the messages about a trip you have actually booked.
A trip is delivered by other people, so some of your details have to reach them. We share the minimum required, and only with:
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not hand it to advertisers or data brokers. Ever.
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep pages working and to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may then behave oddly, but you will still be able to reach us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as the law requires us to.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or put it beyond use.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe: access is limited to the people who need it to do their job, our accounts are password protected, and payment proof is stored with the booking file rather than passed around.
We should be straight with you though: no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach ever occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required by law.
You can help by not sending sensitive documents over unsecured public wifi, and by ignoring any message that asks for a PIN or OTP in our name.
You can ask us, at any time, to:
Write to info@tripnepal.co.in or call +91 63900 02936. We may need to confirm who you are first – that protects you, not us. We aim to respond within confirm your response window of receiving a request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise it with the relevant data protection authority for your jurisdiction.
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
Children obviously travel with us, and when they do, their details reach us through the parent or guardian making the booking, who is responsible for the information they share. If you believe a child has given us information directly, tell us and we will remove it.
Our pages link out to other places – maps, video platforms, social media, sometimes a supplier or an official information page. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website, under their privacy policy, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
Worth a glance at their policy before you hand over anything personal.
We update this policy when how we work changes, or when the law does. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always tells you which version you are reading.
If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will make a point of telling you rather than quietly editing the page.
